The Young and the Jobless

Hello everyone! I hope everyone has been doing good. I never knew being able to drive was so convenient! It is. So, since I got my license, my next goal is to find a job. This may be more difficult than getting my license. Nobody is hiring. I mean absolutely nobody. It's crazy. It sucks filling out an application with absolutely no hope of actually getting the job. It's fairly depressing.

I need a job, mainly because I need money. And I need the money so I can go buy a car. Or a truck. Ooooooh yeah. I've applied at a bunch of places. I haven't been called in for a single interview. And I'm not the only one who has this problem. None of my friends can get jobs, either. Apparentlly you have to "know somebody" in this town to get a job. So I had to go out of town (which is where being able to drive comes in handy). But even then, I feel my prospects are slim.

I don't want to end up like THIS: selling my vote for money.....
So yeah, that's all I felt like saying today.

Mega Music Monday #3: Do It Now

Guess what? IT'S MEGA MUSIC MODAY!!! Today, I have a non-metal song (shocking, I know). The song is "Do It Now" by Mos Def featuring Busta Rhymes. Mos Def is a freakin genius. The way he puts words together is amazing (in my opinion). This song is off his first album, "Black On Both Sides." It's a classic, and I highly reccommed purchasing it.

This song is great. Tell me what you think, and reccommend some music to me!

Random Observations of My Life

Hello! I couldn't think of much to blog about today, so I figured I'd just blog about a few random observations about my life.

Scouching was, to say the least, lack-luster. The hill wasn't steep enough for us to go far (and the man attempted to hold us down).
I hate country music. I was forced to listen to it in Pepe's truck. It's terrible. The only thing worse is Christain rock (which seems like an oxymoron, to me).
It's funny sitting in a restaraunt at night, and watching someone walk in stoned out of his mind. They look so paranoid, it just makes me laugh.
It's easy to get lost in downtown Medina. Damn one-way streets..........
It's a lot more fun looking for a job when your friend is looking with you.
Walmart is a very strange place. The people are even weirder....
Girls. Nuff said.
Working at the DMV must really suck. I couldn't do it.
Pantera can make any bad situation seem better.
I will never think of Charizard the same way again......

That's pretty much it for the day. GO PACKERS!

Scouching: A REAL Man Sport

Hello everybody! In a good mood today (I finally got my license. Now I just need a job). Tonight,  my friends and I are going to go scouching. What is scouching, you ask? It's when you sled down a hil.......on a couch! It's gonna be fantastic. I just hope Pepe, Mumbufu and I don't crash into a tree again, because it's REALLY going to hurt if we do. But I see it being a really good time. Especially if we live.

So, this is just going to be another short post today, because I'm busy. So, what kind of crazy things (such as scouching) have you done before?

Parma State of Mind

¡Buenos dias, mis amigos! Today is just a short post. I live in Brunswick, Ohio. But, I used to live in Parma, Ohio (it's just south of Cleveland). People give Parma a lot of flack; the roads suck, the people are stupid, etc. etc. etc. I'm here to tell  you that ALL OF IT IS TRUE! It is a horrible excuse for a city. This video your about to see was done by a local radio station. It truly describes Parma. Very well....

That pretty much is Parma. Tell me what you think!

Pray

I just also wanted to say this; Last night, 3 of my fellow students were in a bad car accident. The one is ok, but the other two are in critical condition. They have head injuries, and (from what I understand) one is bleeding in the brain. That's bad. So, just please keep these 2 girls in your prayers. I know they are in mine.

Attack of the Orange People from New Jersey!!!

Hello! I didn't have school today (SNOW DAY!), so I decided to update my blog a little bit earlier than usual.
You know what I hate? Orange people. We all know them. These Jersey Shore-wannabee's who (supposedly) tan until their skin turns a ridiculous shade of orange. I doubt many of them ACTUALLY tan, but that's just my opinion. In my school, this trend seems to be especially prevalent among the stupid freshman girls. I'd say, to quote my friend, they are all "orange, sluts, or orange sluts." That being said, why would anyone want their skin to be that color? It's not attractive. It just makes it seem like you got ganged up on by a bunch of orange markers. I personally blame the Jersey Shore (specifically MTV).

That's hot. Not.......
I feel as though MTV is making my peers "less intellegent" to be polliticaly correct. For example, the Jersey Shore shows them that fighting, drinkin outrageously, and being a douchebag is ok. Well, it's not. I just feel that the programming on MTV is so ridiculously stupid, that it's making my peers stupid. Not that all of the shows are bad, but the popular one's are (in my opinion). So, what's your opinion?
